General

Yes, absolutely. We encourage all prospective couples to arrange a visit before booking. This gives you the chance to explore the venue, experience the atmosphere, and meet our dedicated wedding team, who will be happy to answer any questions and guide you through the possibilities.

Yes, we are primarily an exclusive-use venue. This allows us to give our couples and their guests our full attention and ensure complete privacy on the day of their wedding or event. For more intimate celebrations, however, we are happy to discuss room hire–only options.

Yes, we are a dog-friendly venue. We even have a number of dog-friendly rooms available, so your four-legged friends can be part of the celebrations and enjoy the event alongside you.

Yes, we have ample on-site parking available for you and your guests, making arrivals and departures as easy as possible.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express. Please note that we are a cashless site.

Unfortunately, we do not allow fireworks on site as we are surrounded by fields and livestock. We thank you for understanding and helping us protect our environment and neighbours.
Weddings…

Yes, we are a fully licensed wedding venue, with a choice of beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces for you to say “I do.”

We can accommodate up to 120 guests for the day and up to 200 for the evening reception. We also warmly welcome more intimate celebrations, starting from 40 guests upwards.

Absolutely. You’re very welcome to decorate the venue yourselves to make it personal and unique to you. We also have a range of talented recommended suppliers if you’d prefer some expert help with styling and décor.

Celebrations at our venue can continue until midnight, giving you and your guests plenty of time to enjoy the evening.

Yes, we do. We simply ask that confetti is biodegradable to protect our grounds and the environment.

To secure your date, we require a non-refundable booking fee of £900. The remaining balance is split into two instalments:
First instalment: 50% of the contract price (minus the deposit), due 3 months prior to the wedding.
Final instalment: The remaining 50% (minus the deposit), due 1 month prior to the wedding.
Any additional guests or items will be invoiced separately upon receipt of your final numbers.

We have 20 rooms available on site, including a beautiful bridal suite for the newlyweds.

The bridal suite is included within the venue hire. Guest rooms are available at an additional cost, and our events & sales team will be happy to provide full details on room rates and booking options.

We ask that all guest room bookings are managed through you as the couple. Our Events & Sales team will provide you with all the details you need to share with your guests and make the process as smooth as possible.

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in from 12pm can be arranged with advance booking, subject to availability.

Yes, we offer breakfast for guests staying overnight, providing a minimum number of rooms are met. Our Events & Sales team can provide full details of the options available.

Yes, all of our rooms have complimentary Wi-Fi for guests to enjoy throughout their stay.

Yes. At The Mill, we have a variety of spaces and rooms available. Depending on your requirements, our team will work with you to create a tailored plan and ensure you have the breakout areas you need for your event.
